Class of 1975 reunion!

On Sat., July 25, 2015, the AHS Class of 1975 held their 40th reunion at the Elks Lodge on East State Street in Albion. What a great night! Two Alumni Foundation members had the chance to drop by to update the class on the Foundation’s activities and to take a few pics.

It was fun to see the classmates (and some former teachers!) greet each other again. The class was definitely prepared to have a fun night: The Who Dats were set up to play!

A special feature of the night was the memorial service for those class members who have passed away. A chair was set aside for each class member who had passed, along with their photo and a card bearing his or her name. Family members and friends were on hand to light a candle in memory of their loved ones, also. The class finished the memorial by singing along to a live performance of “Drink a Beer,” a song made popular by Luke Bryan.

Thank you, Class of 1975, for having us their with you.
