Matthew K. Gardner graduated from Albion High School, Class of 2011, and grew to be a hardworking and gentle person who was always willing to lend a hand or extend a kind word to anyone in need. This scholarship has been established by the family and friends of Matthew in honor of his life and goodness that he represented every day. This scholarship is administered by the Albion High School Alumni Foundation, Inc.

We award one scholarship at $1,000.

Selection Criteria: Equal weight will be given to achievement in academics, extracurricular activities, an essay, community service and career goals. Ideally, the recipient would also be a student that exemplifies kindness, humor and desire to help others above self.

Who Selects: Family will select from applicants recommended by the Alumni selection committee.

Criteria to Earn: None-payable at Class Night
