Minier Family Scholarship
This scholarship, originally established in 2008 and then modified in 2025, is in memory of Dr. and Mrs. Lee and Meredith Minier. Lee, who earned his Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Anatomy, had a lifelong thirst for knowledge and for a deeper understanding of the complexities of the universe. Meredith, who spent decades working with children and those with special needs, including those with cerebral palsy, treasured her time enriching their lives and showing true care and compassion. This scholarship shall be presented to a senior who demonstrates a true love and respect for the sciences, in particular Biology, Paleontology, Astronomy or Chemistry, or to a senior who has demonstrated genuine kindness and a desire to give of themselves to uplift the lives of others. This scholarship is now administered by the Albion High School Alumni Foundation. We award one scholarship at $1,000.
