Description: This award and scholarship is presented annually by the Albion High School Alumni Foundation to a high school senior who has demonstrated an outstanding career in high school theatre arts. This recognition consists of a $5,000 annual scholarship, renewable for up to four years, supporting students as they pursue post-secondary education.

Amount: $5,000 after completion of the first semester, renewable for up to 4 years.

Selection Criteria: A senior who has demonstrated an outstanding career in high school theatre arts. This award is intended to honor exceptional commitment and achievement in theatre arts at the high school level.

Who selects: Alumni Foundation Scholarship Committee upon review of the recommendations of Albion High School play director, band director, and set design director.

Criteria to earn: The scholarship is awarded at Class Night and is dispersed at the conclusion of the student’s first semester of post-secondary education, provided the student achieves a minimum of a 2.0 GPA or better. Subsequent payments are made after each first semester of the following school years, contingent on maintaining a 2.0 GPA or above, for a total of up to 4 years.
