On Friday, June 27, 2014, the Albion High School Class of 2014 walked across the stage in the high school gym to receive their diplomas and begin a new chapter in their lives. One by one, the 166 graduating seniors shook the hand of Margy Brown, Board of Education President, as she issued their diploma and offered her congratulations. Afterwards, wearing the traditional AHS cap and gown (purple for boys and white for girls), the graduates moved their tassels from the right side of the mortar board to the left side – symbolizing their new role in life and the start of an exciting future.
The Albion High School Alumni Foundation wishes our 2014 graduates a lifetime of success and happiness. Always remember that those Alumni who have walked the halls of the Albion Central Schools before you have paved the way for your future and are behind you every step of the way. You are now Albion Alumni – once a purple eagle, always a purple eagle – carry the history and tradition of Albion High School with pride as you embark on a future full of amazing possibilities. Your class motto and the motto of the Alumni Foundation go hand in hand – “Live with Purpose” and go out and “Make a Difference for a Lifetime”! Your life will be what YOU make it…….so, make it count! Good luck to you all!
