Presented by the Albion High School Alumni Foundation in memory of Elizabeth Balcom Smith.  Mrs. Smith graduated with the AHS Class of ‘39, and was a highly respected family therapist.  This scholarship, made possible through a generous contribution from Barbara Balcom, is awarded in recognition of academic achievement, school and community activities, and potential for future accomplishment. We award two scholarships at $2,000 each.

Who Selects: Selection committee

Criteria to Earn: $2,000 paid after successful completion of each of the first two years of college (24 credit hours with a 3.0 GPA or higher).
