SUMMARY:Run for Wayne
DESCRIPTION:The Albion Running Club is hosting a 3.17-mile running / 1-mile walking event to honor one of its founding members\, Wayne A. Burlison. The race has a scheduled start time of 12:01; this time is to represent one of the Bible verses loved by Wayne\, Hebrews 12:1. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be contributed to the Wayne A. Burlison Memorial Scholarship through the AHS Alumni Foundation\, established in 2014 by Wayne’s wife and son. It is supported by Albion School employees\, various musical groups that Wayne was involved in\, the Albion Running Club\, and family and friends. \n  \nStart and finish at the Ronald Sodoma Elementary School. \nPreregistration available online until 3/26/15 at 6pm \nDay of registration from 10am-11:50am \nCOURSE & PERKS: \n• Marked\, Monitored\, Traffic controlled \n• Water stations throughout \n• T-Shirts and Finishers Medals to the first 300 registered participants \nThe event is Sanctioned by the USATF. \n
