Buffalo & Lockport RR

Introduction

The Buffalo & Lockport was chartered April 29, 1852 to build a branch from the Rochester, Lockport & Niagara Falls at Lockport to Tonawanda where it joined the Buffalo & Niagara Falls for the rest of the way to Buffalo. It opened in 1854, but became part of the NYC in 1853.
